PIPPIN 20

The PIPPIN 20 conforms to EU RCD Category C.
THE PIPPIN 20 is constructed by hand lay-up GRP throughout, using the latest resins. A solid laminate incorporating chopped strand mat is used for the hull, ranging from 7oz/sq ft in the topsides to 14oz.sq ft along the centreline.
Performance is enhanced through an up-to-date, but simple, masthead rig and well balanced sailplan. Roller reefing is supplied as standard. She features a shallow draft for launching, but with the plate down and her generous beam, she has plenty of stability enhancing her seakeeping capabilities.

The PIPPIN 20. Great fun for all levels

The PIPPIN 20 is a true trailer sailer, hand made in the United kingdom.
Trailerability provides the key to economical yachting. With the lowest weight (850kg) in the 20 foot sized boats the PIPPIN 20 is capable of being towed behind the average family saloon (1800cc). The PIPPIN 20 has superb towing qualities, with the boat so close to the road and the centre of gravity kept low by the ballast it is very stable. Easy towing opens up more opportunities and sailing grounds throughout the UK, Europe and the Mediterranean are now possibilities.

A true trailer sailer

Very few boats around 20ft can compete with the PIPPIN 20 for space and comfortable full four berth accommodation. For additional insulation and appearance, the coachroof and interior walls are lined in carpet with inset beech panels with full adult sitting headroom on all berths, including the forecabin. There is ample storage space below all berths, a locker for food, large storage area under the cockpit sole and two large lockers in the cockpit.
